Chapter Guide – Act 2.3.6 – Whispers – Rhino Charge!

Here’s my guide for Act 2.3.6 “Whispers” in Marvel Contest of Champions.

General Thoughts:

Note that there is a 3-Star Hero Crystal on the left path, so if you’re only going for completion, you’ll want to grab that.

My 5-Star Captain America Infinity War is now a max Rank 1 5-Star. Hopefully I can awaken him soon. I did get a 5-Star Awakening Gem from the Mutant Treasure Island quest, but it is for a Mystic. That’s still a great pull, and for my next 5-Star crystal I’ll go with the Science/Mystic Dual class crystal in hopes of pulling someone worth the awakening.

Restrictions: Need 1 Mutant and 1 Skill

Global Node: None

Boss: Rhino

Boss Notes: Rhino can be a bit tricky because he goes Unstoppable while charging forward, and sometimes he is Unblockable as well. While you can’t Intercept him when he is Unstoppable, you can Parry him (unless he’s Unblockable as well). The best tactic is to bait and punish his SP1, and try to parry him when you are very close to him so he can’t dash toward you.

Defenders: Punisher, Sentry, Luke Cage, Heimdall, Groot, Kingpin

Nodes: None

Team: 5-Star Hulk, 5-Star Psylocke, 4-Star Sentry, 3-Star Elsa Bloodstone, 3-Star Guardian

Lane 2 – Left Center

Gate: Need 1 Mutant

Defenders: Punisher, Sentry, Ultron, War Machine, Heimdall, Groot, Kingpin

Team: 5-Star Hulk, 5-Star Psylocke, 4-Star Sentry, 3-Star Elsa Bloodstone, 3-Star Guardian

Lane 3 – Right Center

Gate: Need 1 Skill

Defenders: Punisher, Nick Fury, Night Thrasher, Old Man Logan, Carnage, Kingpin

Nodes: None
