Chapter Guide – Act 2.3.5 – The Tide – 3K Hulk

Summoners!

Here’s my guide for Act 2.3.5 “The Tide” in Marvel Contest of Champions.

General Thoughts:

There are 4 lanes in this chapter, and the difficulty level is in line with the last several quests.

My 5-Star Hulk is now over 3K PI and is max level for a Rank 2 5-Star. Ideally, I would like to dupe my 5-Star Captain America Infinity War, and have him take over as the top Science Champion in my roster.

Restrictions: Need 1 Cosmic and 1 Skill

Boss: Storm

Boss Notes: Standard Storm, nothing to worry about.


Lane 1 – Left

Gate: None

Defenders: Gambit, Howard The Duck, Nebula, Spider-Man, The Hood, Archangel, Star-Lord

Nodes: None

Team: 5-Star Hulk, 4-Star Sentry, 4-Star Drax, 3-Star Guardian, 3-Star Elsa Bloodstone

Tips: Bait the SP1 when fighting Howard The Duck and The Hood.

Lane 2 – Left Center

Gate: Need 1 Cosmic

Defenders: Gambit, Howard The Duck, Jane Foster, Gwenpool, The Hood, Archangel, Star-Lord

Nodes: None

Team: 5-Star Hulk, 4-Star Sentry, 4-Star Drax, 3-Star Guardian, 3-Star Elsa Bloodstone

Tips: Bait the SP1 when fighting Howard The Duck and The Hood.

Lane 3 – Right Center

Gate: Need 1 Skill

Defenders: Ultron, Thor Ragnarok, Loki, Night Thrasher, Iron Patriot, Colossus

Nodes: None

Team: 5-Star Hulk, 4-Star Sentry, 4-Star Drax, 3-Star Guardian, 3-Star Elsa Bloodstone

Tips: Thor Ragnarok will receive a Power Gain if you hit him 20 times in a row. This is turned off by hitting him with a special attack after the 20th hit.

Lane 4 – Right

Gate: None

Defenders: Ultron, Psylocke, Namor, Beast, Iron Patriot, Colossus

Nodes: None

Team: 5-Star Hulk, 4-Star Sentry, 4-Star Drax, 3-Star Guardian, 3-Star Elsa Bloodstone

Tips: Easy Path.
