Here’s my guide for Act 1.4.6 “Malice” in Marvel Contest of Champions.
General Thoughts:
It’s the final quest of Act 1! Initial completion of 1.4.6 will grant you the Challenger title. While that particular title isn’t a huge deal, later titles like Proven, Conqueror, Uncollected, and Cavalier have a big impact on your Daily Crystal rewards, Login Calendars, and the offers you’re allowed to buy in the store.
I also reached Level 21 during my Exploration of 1.4.6. Ideally I would have unlocked Recovery with that Mastery Point, but Recovery costs 6 Stony Cores, so I decided to add a point to Block Proficiency while I save up my units.
I did an opening following my 1.4.4-1.4.6 run, with the big pulls being 4-Star Vulture from a PHC, 4-Star Mole Man, and 4-Star Hulk Ragnarok from a 4-Star Nexus (sorry Joe Fixit). My account had a total of five 4-Star heroes at the end of Act 1.
The quest itself is nothing to worry about, as the defenders here actually present less of a challenge than those in Act 1.4.5.

Tips: Yondu can cause a bleed through your block, so be careful if you are not using a Bleed-Immune champion. Also, if you are going to parry Yondu, you need to have him run at you from a distance. If you are close to him, his first attack will be with his Yaka Arrow, and there are only a few champs that can Parry-Stun a projectile attack.

The Featured Champions will be Red Guardian, Tigra, Hit Monkey, Guardian, Sasquatch, and Air Walker. Here’s my guide for Act 1.4.5 “Wrath” in Marvel Contest of Champions.
General Thoughts:
As with 1.4.4, we’re starting to see some more challenging defenders on the map. In this case, you have Heimdall and Spider-Gwen to deal with if you’re going to get 100% Exploration.
I reached Level 20 during my Exploration of Act 1.4.5, and was able to add another point to Greater Strength.

Best Champs: Any
Restrictions: Need 1 Tech & 1 Skill
Global Node: None
Boss: Gamora
Boss Notes: None
Lane 1 – Left
Gate: None
Defenders: Angela, Black Bolt, Heimdall, Hulk Ragnarok, Captain America Infinity War
Nodes: None
Team: 3-Star Black Widow, 4-Star Sentry, 3-Colossus, 3-Star Guardian
Tips: You need to be aware of Heimdall’s True Strike ability in this fight, which can cause problems if you aren’t prepared. Whenever Heimdall launches a special attack he gains a permanent True Strike buff, which grants him a 25% chance to Auto-Block basic attacks. This means if you rush in after a special, you may get stunned. You can play it safe by waiting for Heimdall to finish his special attack, then parrying him and attacking as normal to remove the True Strike buff. You can also nullify this True Strike buff, stagger him, or use an attacker with True Strike yourself if those options are available to you. Finally, make sure you bait Heimdall’s Special 1, not his Special 2.
Lane 2 – Center Left
Gate: 1 Skill & 1 Tech
Defenders: Angela, Cosmic Adaptoid, Spider-Gwen, Heimdall, Hulk Ragnarok, Captain America Infinity War
Nodes: None

Tips: Spider-Gwen can auto-evade your attacks. You best options are to counter her with Venom, a champion that has a passive ability that counters evade (Night Thrasher, Emma Frost), a champion like Iceman or Elsa Bloodstone that places Coldsnap on the opponent, or to only attack her while she is stunned.
