Chapter Guide – Act 1.3.6 – The Conqueror – Level 17 & Unlocking Alliance Events

Here’s my guide for Act 1.3.6 “The Conqueror” in Marvel Contest of Champions.

General Thoughts:

The chapter itself is very straightforward, but it has 5 paths so it may take you a while to fully explore.

During my exploration of this chapter, I hit Level 17. This unlocked a number of new features including Alliance Quest and Alliance War game-play. Assuming you are in an alliance, you can now participate in these game-modes for even more rewards. I also earned another mastery point, and continued to add to the Defense tree by unlocking Block Proficiency.

Restrictions: None

Global Node: None

Boss: Iron Man

Boss Notes: Iron Man has his Signature Ability unlocked, so he will regenerate substantially when at low health. This can be prevented by heal block (Civil Warrior, Sentinel), heal reversal (Void, Guillotine, Human Torch), buff nullification (Sorcerer Supreme, Symbiote Supreme), or Stagger (The Hood, Sasquatch). If all else fails, just use a heavy-hitter to get through the extra HP.
