Chapter Guide – Act 2.2.4 – The Warning – I Need ISO

Summoners!

Here’s my guide for Act 2.2.4 “The Warning” in Marvel Contest of Champions.

General Thoughts:

Nothing big to report from an account progression standpoint. My main issue is lack of ISO which is slowing down my rank-ups.

Kabam has updated the defenders for Act 2. The new defenders are listed in the path notes below. None of them are particularly tricky as long as you are familiar with their special attacks.

Best Champs: Any

Restrictions: None

Global Node: None

Boss: Black Panther

Boss Notes: Normal Black Panther fight, nothing special to worry about here.


Lane 1 – Left

Gate: None

Defenders: Venompool, Ronin, Venom The Duck, Guillotine, Moon Knight, Symbiote Supreme

Nodes: None

Team: 4-Star Yondu, 5-Star Hulk, 4-Star Emma Frost, 4-Star Black Widow Deadly Origin, 3-Star Elsa Bloodstone

Tips: There is nothing too bad to worry about here. Ronin has some tricky specials that you’ll have to get used to dodging. With Venom the Duck and Symbiote Supreme, the SP1 attacks are much easier to evade than the SP2s.

Lane 2 – Center

Gate: None

Defenders: Venompool, Immortal Iron Fist, The Hood, Gamora, Symbiote Supreme

Nodes: None

Team: 4-Star Yondu, 5-Star Hulk, 4-Star Emma Frost, 4-Star Black Widow Deadly Origin, 3-Star Elsa Bloodstone

Tips: Just be careful with the The Hood. Don’t let him throw his SP2 or hit into his block too many times (watch the timer) or he will turn invisible and your attacks will miss.

Lane 3 – Right

Gate: None

Defenders: Venompool, Venom, Elektra, Ghost-Rider, Gamora, Symbiote Supreme

Nodes: None

Team: 4-Star Yondu, 5-Star Hulk, 4-Star Emma Frost, 4-Star Black Widow Deadly Origin, 3-Star Elsa Bloodstone

Tips: This probably the easiest of the three paths, as you should have seen all of these defenders in prior content.
