Chapter Guide – Act 2.2.3 – The Proposition – Act 2 Doldrums

Here’s my guide for Act 2.2.3 “The Proposition” in Marvel Contest of Champions.

General Thoughts:

Really nothing much to report here. I ran this before the Act 2 update so the defenders were pretty basic. I didn’t Level-Up or get any new champion pulls.

Best Champs: Any

Restrictions: None

Global Node: None

Boss: Black Bolt

Boss Notes: Black Bolt is an easy, just parry and counter-attack. Dodge either the Sp1 or Sp2.


Lane 1 – Left

Gate: None

Defenders: Ronan, Miles Morales, Thor, Luke Cage, Phoenix, She Hulk

Nodes: None

Team: 4-Star Yondu, 5-Star Hulk, 4-Star Emma Frost, 4-Star Black Widow Deadly Origin, 3-Star Elsa Bloodstone

Tips: Miles Morales is an evade champ. Watch for his Green Evade Charges. When they are active, it is safest to only attack him while stunned. Venom will also negate his evade abilities.

Lane 2 – Right Center

Gate: None

Defenders: Ronan, Hulk, Quake, Heimdall, Captain America Infinity War, Phoenix, She-Hulk

Nodes: None

Team: 4-Star Yondu, 5-Star Hulk, 4-Star Emma Frost, 4-Star Black Widow Deadly Origin, 3-Star Elsa Bloodstone

Tips: Heimdall can autoblock you when he has True Strike active. His auto-block doesn’t stun so you should be ok even if it triggers. Make sure to bait his SP1 not his SP2.

Lane 3 – Right

Gate: None

Defenders: Ronan, Hulk, Quake, Electro, Cull Obsidian, Abomination, She-Hulk

Nodes: None

Team: 4-Star Yondu, 5-Star Hulk, 4-Star Emma Frost, 4-Star Black Widow Deadly Origin, 3-Star Elsa Bloodstone

Tips: None of these defenders are too difficult. Cull Obsidian’s specials are easy to punish, but they are very long, so don’t rush in too early.
