Another three months have passed, so let’s see how my account has progressed since mid-February.
Champions – 700 (+20) PI – 1,848,608 (+139,228) Prestige – 10,925 (+236) (increase over the past 3 months)
In the last three months I was able to bring my first two duped 6-Stars to Rank 3, raising my prestige for the first time since August of 2020. Falcon has taken over the top spot in my profile. If you told me that a year ago I wouldn’t have believed you, but Mr. Wilson is amazing post-buff and is helping me out everywhere! The Champion was mainly a Prestige rank-up, but he’s fun in Incursions and serviceable for the Cavalier Event Quest.
6-Star Roster
I now have 46 6-Stars, up from 38 since the last update. I took quite a few chances with the last Featured Crystal, which didn’t yield me too much, but I did manage to pull and dupe Apocalypse from a Basic Crystal, which was fantastic. He’ll be going to Rank 3 as soon as I complete a Mutant Tier 5 Catalyst (just need 5% more). Kingpin is my other new Rank 2 6-Star. I also pulled Omega Red and Ghost recently, so look for them to be Rank 2 by the next update.
5/65 5-Stars
I now have 36 5/65 5-Star champions, up from 33 three months ago. The 3 new champs are Claire Voyant, Man-Thing, and Magneto. Claire Voyant and Man-Thing have been very useful in Alliance Quest since I was switched onto the Acid Wash paths. Magneto, as everyone knows, is an all-round beast, and has helped finish up Act 7.1 and in the initial chapters of Variant 6.
4/55 5-Stars
Note: Gambit and Kingpin are both R3, but Punisher is R4.
I now have 18 4/55 5-Star champions, down from 19 last update. Because I need resources to Rank 6-Stars, I’m only using Rank-Up Gems on 5-Stars for the time being. Red Hulk is my newest Rank 4.
Top 5 Most Wanted (5* or 6*) Aegon – Abyss (5-Star) Silver Surfer – Prestige (6-Star Dupe) Spider-Ham – Fun/Degen Counter Cosmic Ghost-Rider – Damage/Prestige Dragon Man – Cause he’s a robot dragon.
I was able to pull and dupe 6-Star Apocalypse from last update’s most wanted list. Aegon continues to evade me in the Dual Class crystals. I’ve opened almost 70 at this point and I still can’t manage to pull him.
Content Progress
In the last 3 months Kabam has released Variant 7, which I haven’t gotten into yet, and is about to release Act 7.2 next week. I spent the last 3 months 100% exploring Act 7.1 and starting Variant 6. Looking forward, I’m not expecting to make any big gains over the next few months with regards to clearing permanent content. My playtime in May has been limited by real-life schedule issues and that looks to continue, so I need to focus on any temporary challenges (Cav EQ, Summer of Pain, and potentially Grandmaster’s Gauntlet) to make sure I don’t miss out on rewards.
For alliance play I’m currently in STARS, which runs AQ 7×5 and earns four 2% T5cc a week with Gold 1 wars.
Total Account Spend: $568 USD (+$95 past 3 months – $50 of this was Deadpool’s Spring Cleaning)
