Next week in Marvel Contest of Champions brings us the end of the Lunar New Year Event, the conclusion of Alliance War Season 31, and the official Contest debut of Captain America Sam Wilson.

Alliance Wars Seasons
We are currently in Alliance War Season 31. Rewards eligibility locked on February 6 (due to required wars being reduced to 4) and the season will end on February 15.

Full Roster Availability (No AW/AQ): 100% Champion Availability starting at 3pm EST on Sunday, February 13 through Monday, February 14 at 2pm EST. There will be a second window starting at 2pm EST on Tuesday, February 15 through Wednesday, February 16 at 3:15pm EST.

Sunday, February 13: Sunday Arenas begin at 1pm EST. 100% Roster Availability begins at 3pm EST, following the conclusion of the Alliance Quest Series.

Monday, February 14: The Summoner Sigil Solo Event, Gold Quest, items on a 7-day timer, and the Featured Crystals in the Black-ISO Market reset at 1pm EST. Round 2 of the Miles Morales/Thor Ragnarok/Gamora/Guillotine Selector Basic Arena and Blade Featured Arena begin at 1pm EST. 100% Roster Availability ends at 2pm EST when Alliance War attack resumes. The Alpha Arena begins at 6pm EST. The Lunar New Year Event ends at 7pm EST.

Tuesday, February 15: Season 31 of Alliance War concludes today. 100% Roster Availability begins at 2pm EST. Incursions Milestones reset at 2pm EST. Alliance Quest Enlistment opens at 3pm EST.

Wednesday, February 16: All My Iron Men (February SQ) Chapter 2 Quests 1 and 2 open at 1pm EST. The Alliance Quest Series kicks-off at 3:15pm EST, ending 100% Roster Availability.

Thursday, February 17: Round 1 of the Stark Spider-Man Basic Arena and Captain America Sam Wilson Featured Arena begin at 1pm EST. The Tier 4 Basic Arena begins at 6pm EST.

Friday, February 18: No schedule updates.

Saturday, February 19: No schedule updates.

Schedule Notes: Round 1 of the Miles Morales/Thor Ragnarok/Gamora/Guillotine Basic Arena and Blade Featured Arena begin at 1pm EST. Incursions Milestones reset at 2pm EST.

Kabam confirmed on the forums that the changes to Paradox Charges in Act 7.3 were intended, they just went live early. That is why the changes weren’t noted in the v33.3 Release Notes. Max Paradox Charges have been increased from 9 to 12, and the Resistance Reduction has been decreased from 5% to 3.5%.

Kabam announced more details and a Beta timeline for the new solo competitive mode, Battlegrounds.

Kam shared tips on fighting Misty Knight and Captain America Sam Wilson in the Event Quest.

Schedule Notes: January events end and February events begin at 1pm EST.

Kabam has given an update on the Android control issues. A Hotfix is being prepared and should be out today. Alliance War Season 31 has not been cancelled yet, that decision will be made after the Hotfix is out, likely late Thursday after the next AW attack has begun. Whether or not the Season is cancelled, there will be Alliance War compensation issued based on your tier. This compensation will be issued to players on both iOS and Android.

Schedule Notes: Nimrod is scheduled to join the Basic Pool at 1pm EST. Please confirm via the in-game news and crystal tab. A new Featured 5-Star Crystal debuts at 1pm EST. The featured champs will be Anti-Venom, Knull, Sersi, Ikaris, Kraven the Hunter, and Toad. The Alliance Quest Series kicks-off at 3:15pm EST. The Tier 4 Basic Arena begins at 6pm EST. Server Maintenance is scheduled for 11pm EST is expected to last up to 3 hours.

Some Android players have been dealing with input issues following the v33.3 update. The issue is still under investigation, but you can follow this forum thread for more information and potential updates.
