The Week Ahead in MCOC – January 2-8, 2022

Next week in Marvel Contest of Champions brings us the v33.2 update, the end of the Gifting event, and the Summoner’s Choice Champion voting begins. The new update is expected to be available for download on January 4.

Alliance Wars Seasons
Season 31 will begin on January 5 after an extended off-season. Rewards eligibility will lock on Friday, January 21 at 6pm EST and the season will end on Tuesday, February 1.

Full Roster Availability (No AW/AQ): 100% Champion Availability starting at 3pm EST on Tuesday, January 4 through Thursday, January 6 at 2pm EST.

Sunday, January 2: Sunday Arenas begin at 1pm EST.

Monday, January 3: The Summoner Sigil Solo Event, Gold Quest, items on a 7-day timer, and the Featured Crystals in the Black-ISO Market reset at 1pm EST. Round 2 of the Black Widow Deadly Origin Basic Arena and Namor Featured Arena begin at 1pm EST. The Gifting Event ends at 1pm EST. The Tier 4 Basic Arena begins at 6pm EST.

Tuesday, January 4: The v33.2 update is expected to be released today. 100% Roster Availability begins at 3pm EST with the conclusion of the Alliance Quest Series.

Wednesday, January 5: January events kick-off at 1pm EST. The first matchmaking for Alliance War Season 31 begins at 6pm EST.

Thursday, January 6: Round 1 of the Hercules Basic Arena and To Be Announced Featured Arena begin at 1pm EST. 100% Roster Availability ends at 2pm EST. Incursions Milestones reset at 2pm EST. Gifting Event rewards are scheduled to pay out at 3pm EST. Enlistment for the Alliance Quest Series opens at 3pm EST. The Class Catalyst Arena begins at 6pm EST.

Friday, January 7: Voting for the Summoner’s Choice Champion begins today. The Alliance Quest Series kicks-off at 3:15pm EST.

Saturday, January 8: No schedule updates.
