Chapter Guide – Act 3.4.4 – Impossible Odds – 4/40 Yondu

Here’s my guide for Act 3.4.4 “Impossible Odds” in Marvel Contest of Champions.

General Thoughts:

We’re back up to 4 lanes here, with the left side being slightly easier than the right. While the defenders are getting a little beefier in terms of PI, they still don’t pose much of a threat.

I did complete one level-up during Act 3.4.4, bringing my 4-Star Yondu to 4/40.

Best Champs:

Restrictions: Need 1 Mutant, 1 Tech, and 1 Cosmic Champ

Global Node: None

Boss: OG Vision

Boss Notes: OG Vision is awakened so watch for the random power gain.


Lane 1 – Left

Gate: None

Defenders: Iron Man, Thor, Star-Lord, Cosmic Adaptoid, Captain Marvel Classic, Drax, Ronan

Nodes: None

Team: 5-Star Captain America Infinity War, 4-Star Emma Frost, 4-Star Black Widow Deadly Origin, 4-Star King Groot, 4-Star Vulture

Tips: With mostly Cosmic defenders on this path there are many good matchups for mystic attackers.

Lane 2 – Left Center

Gate: Need 1 Cosmic

Defenders: Iron Man, Thor, Star-Lord, Black Bolt, Cosmic Adaptoid, Drax, Ronan

Nodes: None

Team: 5-Star Captain America Infinity War, 4-Star Emma Frost, 4-Star Black Widow Deadly Origin, 4-Star King Groot, 4-Star Vulture

Tips: With mostly Cosmic defenders on this path there are many good matchups for mystic attackers.

Lane 3 – Right Center

Gate: Need 1 Tech and 1 Mutant

Defenders: Iron Man, Gamora, Star-Lord, Black Bolt, Rhino, Ronan

Nodes: None

Team: 5-Star Captain America Infinity War, 4-Star Emma Frost, 4-Star Black Widow Deadly Origin, 4-Star King Groot, 4-Star Vulture

Tips: Besides Rhino you shouldn’t have any issues here.

Lane 4 – Right

Gate: Need 1 Tech

Defenders: Iron Man, Gamora, Star-Lord, Captain Marvel Classic, Cosmic Adaptoid, Rhino, Ronan

Nodes: None

Team: 5-Star Captain America Infinity War, 4-Star Emma Frost, 4-Star Black Widow Deadly Origin, 4-Star King Groot, 4-Star Vulture

Tips: Besides Rhino you shouldn’t have any issues here.
