Island of Doctor M.O.D.O.K. Quest

To enter the Island of Doctor M.O.D.O.K. Quest you need a Sample Collector. Thankfully, you’ll get these once a day from a Login Calendar, so acquiring them isn’t hard.
Once you have a Sample Collector, you can enter the quest, which is located on the Event Quest tab, and requires no energy to run. There are 4 difficulty levels and you can only play one time per Sample Collector, so focus on the hardest difficulty level you can reasonably complete. You can run the event multiple times per day if you have Sample Collectors saved up.
The Island of Doctor M.O.D.O.K. quest has 6 paths, but you only need to do 1 path to earn completion rewards. Each path has 6 fights, and all defenders on the path are of the same class. There is then a final boss.
All fights have a random buffs based on the difficulty level you have chosen. If you don’t like the buffs, you can re-roll them with a Randomizer (for sale for 2,500 gold), or remove one with a Buff Deleter. Beware though, Deleters can only be purchased with Gold Coins, so you’ll be reducing your rewards from the event.

For completing the Quest you’ll receive rewards based on the difficulty level selected, including Gold Coins which can be spent on even more rewards.
With 30 Sample Collectors available (28 from the Calendar + 2 from in-game mail), players can collect the following amounts of Gold Coins, depending on their chosen difficulty level:
Epic – 1,800 Gold Coins
Master – 900 Gold Coins
Heroic – 450 Gold Coins
Normal – 150 Gold Coins
Remember, you can only play one difficulty level per collector, so focus on the hardest level you can reasonably complete!

Class Solo Events
You can earn additional Gold Coins by competing in Solo Events. There will be a champion and a class of the day you can use to earn bonus points. There are Milestone Rewards in the Solo event, but no Rank Rewards. The Class event will not run on Sundays. There are 36 Gold Coins available every day in the Solo Event, for a total 864 Gold Coins over the month of June.

M.O.D.O.K. Contracts
There will be 13 Special Objectives that go live throughout the month, which will also grant more Gold Coins. These are similar to the Red Room targets where you have to defeat a specific champion to earn the reward. A total of 360 Gold Coins will be available through M.O.D.O.K. Contracts.

Spending Your Gold Coins – Hotel M.O.D.O.K. Store
Once you’ve saved up your Gold Coins, spend them at the Hotel M.O.D.O.K. Gift Store, open through Wednesday, July 8 at 1pm EST. Your ability to purchase items is dictated by your progression level (Challenger / Proven / Uncollected / Cavalier) and the amount of Gold Coins you acquire throughout the month. There are 3,024 Gold Coins available for Summoners that can complete Epic Difficulty and all solo events.

For Modok Contracts, it is 20 coins for 13 contracts (i.e. 260 coins). How come it becomes 360 coins in your total? Thanks

I asked Kabam about this one. Apparently, some contracts will have more than 2 targets, so you’ll get more than 20 coins.
